Basil Pesto Pasta

Pasta - any kind - 1 to 1.5 cup/ 2 handfuls
Fresh Basil leaves - 1/2 cup
Garlic - 2 cloves
Roasted Pine Nuts or Cashew - 1/3 cup ** I burnt pine nuts while roasting  :D so ended up using pine nuts that were not so burnt along with cashews
Whole Black Pepper - 7-8 or per your taste
Paremsan cheese - 1/4 cup
Oil ~ 6 tbsps
Salt per taste

Wash Basil leaves and dry out the water. Grind basil, garlic, nuts, pepper, salt together with oil into a paste. Cook pasta as per package instructions. Drain water from pasta. Toss pasta with the basil pesto and top it with parmesan cheese. Serve hot. Enjoy!!
