Beetroot cake..healthy version..yum :D

Ingredients/;
All purpose flour - 1.5 cups
Beetroot  -  1 (finely grated) (you can add more if you wish to)
Nuts - your choice (I used walnuts)
Sugar - 1 cup
Baking soda - 1 tsp
Baking powder  - 1/2 tsp
Egg - 3 
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Apple sauce - 1 cup of Motts 
** I avoid using butter and margarine when baking & instead use apple sauce to make it healthier!
Procedure:
In a bowl beat eggs and add apple sauce and mix, add vanilla essence and mix. Add sugar, baking soda and baking powder and mix. Add all purpose flour lil by lil and mix well. After making the batter, fold in the nuts. Apply butter all over to your baking and sprinkle in some flour to all sides. Remove excess flour. Pour in the batter. Bake at 350F for 35 mins, your cake is ready :)
