Butter Paneer Masala



Ingredients
Paneer - 1 pack
Tomatoes - 6
Onions - 1
Maze - 2
Peppercorns - 4
Cinnamon - 1small piece
Red Chilli powder - 4 tsps
Turmeric - a pinch
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Butter - as much as you want
Olive oil for frying
Chaat Masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt per taste
Garlic cloves - 3 (finely chopped)
Ginger - 1 inch (finely cut)
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Green Chillis - 5
Heavy Cream - 4 tsps
Kasoori Methi - 1 tsp
 **you can replace olive oil with butter in the recipe, but I tried to cut down on calories wherever I can by using olive oil

Paneer Prep: 
  1. Make a mixture of 1 tsp olive oil, 1tsp of red chilli powder, chaat masala and lil turmeric. Now add the paneer pieces to it and mix well. 
  2. Add 2tsp of Olive oil in a pan and heat it at medium flame. 
  3. Add the marinated paneer and fry it it gets a golden brown color outside and keep the paneer aside.
Gravy Prep:
  1. Heat a pan at medium flame and add 4 tsps of olive oil. Once heated add maze, pepper corns and garlic. 
  2. Add sliced tomatoes once the garlic starts turning brown. 
  3. Cook the tomatoes till it is 60% done. Now make a paste of this and keep aside. 
  4. Now in the same pan add oil. Once heated, add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste and pinch of tumeric and fry. 
  5. Add coriander powder and fry for few secs and switch off stove. Make a paste of this onion mixture. 
  6. In a pan add butter and once the butter starts to melt add ginger and green chllis. 
  7. Add onion paste and fry it for some time. Now add the red chilli powder and cook for a min. 
  8. Add tomato mixture and cook till the ripe red color of the gravy turns to a darker shade. 
  9. Add salt per taste.  
  10. Now add heavy cream and mix well. After 1 min add kasoori methi and cook on low flame for 1 min and switch off. Add paneer to this gravy.
  11. Top it with some more butter pieces(as much as you want)... Enjoy!!!!!!!
