Shrimp Biryani


This weekend was a food festival at my place...thanks to Vam for amazing Shrimp Biryani :)

Ingredients
Shrimp - raw
Curd
Green chillies - 6
Ginger - Garlic paste
Fried Onions
Red Chilli Powder
Dhania Powder
Garam Masala powder
Whole garam masala
Biryani Masala
Salt
Method
1) Remove tail from shrimp and clean it.
2) Add red chilli powder, dhania powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste, salt and marinate for 15 mins
3) In a pan, add oil and heat. Add whole garam masala and fry shrimp. Take shrimp and keep aside.
4) To the same oil, add curd (add generously). To it add green chillis, fried onions, biryani masala, mint and coriander. Fry for couple of minutes. Add shrimp to it and fry for 1 min.
5) Cook rice with cooking add oil, whole garam masala, jeera and salt as per taste to 85-90% done.
6) Add half of the cooked rice to the vessel containing shrimp, now add fried onions, mint and coriander leaves. Now add other half of rice, add remaining leaves and sprinkle some red chilli powder. Close the vessel with a tight lid, let it cook in slow flame for 15mins.
