My all-time favorite sweet! Its so easy to make and tastes great.
Here's what you need
1 cup Sweetened Shredded Coconut (non-sweetened is also fine, but will need more sugar)
1-1/2 tbsps Flax seed powder
2 tbsps Sugar (white)
1/3 cup Milk (I used 1% milk)
3 Cardamoms (Elaichi) - Optional
Almond & Saffron for decoration
- Grind Coconut and Cardamom together.
- Heat a pan on low medium, add the coconut-cardamom powder, dry roast for around 3-4 mins make sure it doesn't turn brown.
- Add milk and sugar to the pan and continue to the stir till it starts leaving the sides of the pan and the consistency gets thick enough.
- Now add flax seed powder mix well.
- Take it off heat and let it cool & cut as you like. Enjoy!!!
