Coconut Sweet / Kobbari Mittai / Thengai Sweet

My all-time favorite sweet!  Its so easy to make and tastes great.

Here's what you need
1 cup Sweetened Shredded Coconut (non-sweetened is also fine, but will need more sugar)
1-1/2 tbsps Flax seed powder
2 tbsps Sugar (white)
1/3 cup Milk (I used 1% milk)
3 Cardamoms (Elaichi) - Optional
Almond & Saffron for decoration

  1. Grind Coconut and Cardamom together.
  2. Heat a pan on low medium,  add the coconut-cardamom powder, dry roast for around 3-4 mins make sure it doesn't turn brown.
  3. Add milk and sugar to the pan and continue to the stir till it starts leaving the sides of the pan and the consistency gets thick enough. 
  4. Now add flax seed powder mix well.
  5. Take it off heat and let it cool & cut as you like. Enjoy!!!
